Not sure if they are toxic or not but I wouldn't use a Christmas tree because of all the sap.

Yes keep all lights off at night! It is best if you can put them on a timer, 12 hours on and 12 hours off.

I don't know what the weather is like there but you said you don't need a heat source in the summer so maybe you could take her out in the sun once in a while too? But you would have to get a screened cage so she could benefit from the sun.

I was wondering the same thing when my female veiled shed the first time after I got her. Last night before her lights shut off I noticed a few small white spots and knew she was about the shed again. Then this was her this morning when I woke up. She is a little over 3 months old and growing fast.

I would check where she was digging too. If she covered it back up she might of already layed some eggs.

I have a 3 month old female veiled and I was wondering the same thing. I have never got wax worms for her yet but I use meal worms as little treats and she loves them. every time she sees me get them out (which isn't often) she comes running :). She still loves her crickets too.

I will switch to a lower watt bulb tonight to bring the temp down for tomorrow. Her humidity stays right around 70 during the day. Not to sure about at night. I will be sure to check it in the morning before misting to get an idea. Thanks for the help.
