Thank you for the ideas. I think I will have to try out the cheap cage to build. I had the vines from her cage to a free range tree for her but I cant do that for an outside free range since I live on the 3rd floor of an apartment. I wouldn't be comfortable with her on the balcony even with me...
I want to take my girl outside but I don't have an outside cage for her and if I walk around with her to much she starts to freak out. Any tips on how to take her outside other then getting an outside cage for her. I plan on building one but don't have the extra funds right now.
I haven't used superworms yet since my chameleon is to small for them yet but she loves meal worms! I give them to her as treats but I have to hide them from her when taking a few out or she goes crazy and tries to get them through the screen. When I open the door and she sees them she...
Our female veiled has been moving around her cage a lot the last 2 days. She will crawl down one side of the screen walk around on the floor and then crawl up the other side and just keep going until she is thirsty or cold, then she goes to either her basking spot for a while or where the...
I don't know what the weather is like there but you said you don't need a heat source in the summer so maybe you could take her out in the sun once in a while too? But you would have to get a screened cage so she could benefit from the sun.
I was wondering the same thing when my female veiled shed the first time after I got her. Last night before her lights shut off I noticed a few small white spots and knew she was about the shed again. Then this was her this morning when I woke up. She is a little over 3 months old and growing fast.
I have a 3 month old female veiled and I was wondering the same thing. I have never got wax worms for her yet but I use meal worms as little treats and she loves them. every time she sees me get them out (which isn't often) she comes running :). She still loves her crickets too.
Sorry for your loss. Are you sure it was a bloody stool? From the picture its looks like when my female veiled threw up. The vet told us it could of been a cricket that was to big for her or she could of caught 2 at once and not been able to digest it properly. But there was no blood and it was...
I will switch to a lower watt bulb tonight to bring the temp down for tomorrow. Her humidity stays right around 70 during the day. Not to sure about at night. I will be sure to check it in the morning before misting to get an idea. Thanks for the help.
I have a three month old female Veiled and was wondering, when I mist should I just mist around her or should a get her too? I read in a book that misting her directly when the temp is above 78 can cause sickness. I have a fogger and a dripper besides misting and I see her drinking almost every...
