    Outside sticks in Cham cage

Yeah you want to bake them at 350 for about 15 minutes. If the sticks are smooth and without holes, you can scrub them with bleach and wash it off with soap and water.

    New Cham Owner

Hi, welcome to the forums! It's completely normal for your chams to be on hunger strike the first few days. The move is very stressful, and it will take them time before they'll eat. As for your mineral water... I don't know if that's the best thing for them. I've never used it or don't...

    New to Chameleons

Hi lilblack, welcome to the forums! To answer your question regarding the size of your screen cage, I feel a 24x24x48 is perfect for a six to seven month old veiled. Chameleons are considered to be advanced because their care can be quiet tedious... From offering a variety of gutloaded feeders...

    Wood treatment

What I did was give the wood a quick wash, and scrapped the extra bark off so there wasnt any loose pieces, I then put it in the oven for 10-20 minutes on 350F. I've also heard of another method where you can use bleach. Hope this helps

    Misting my panther

A mister would be a good idea. I mist my chams 3-5 times a day, and I do it generously to cover the plants in water.

    Advise needed. Deeply worried.

Do not use a heat lamp at night. The light disrupts their sleep, and they need the nighttime to cool off. Also please fill out the care sheet so we can address the issue properly.

I found them both at Home Depot and lowes. But they arnt in the garden center outside. They are inside nearby pothos and other indoor plants.

I notice you didn't mention a uvb bulb... That for sure is a problem if you did not have one. Also it would be helpful if you filled out the care sheet.

My First Cham- I have Some Questions and need Advise

Your basking spot temperature is too high for a baby. The temperature should not exceed 85 degrees, as they don't when they are burning themselves. You want the basking spot to be about 80-83 And lower throughout your cage. As for the eye problem I do not know, and hopefully someone more...

My 6 week old yemen chameleon will not eat

Chams usually don't eat the first few days after putting him in a new enclosure. Make sure his tank is well misted and to keep a constant drip.
