Yeah you want to bake them at 350 for about 15 minutes. If the sticks are smooth and without holes, you can scrub them with bleach and wash it off with soap and water.
Hi, welcome to the forums! It's completely normal for your chams to be on hunger strike the first few days. The move is very stressful, and it will take them time before they'll eat.
As for your mineral water... I don't know if that's the best thing for them. I've never used it or don't...
Hi lilblack, welcome to the forums!
To answer your question regarding the size of your screen cage, I feel a 24x24x48 is perfect for a six to seven month old veiled. Chameleons are considered to be advanced because their care can be quiet tedious... From offering a variety of gutloaded feeders...
What I did was give the wood a quick wash, and scrapped the extra bark off so there wasnt any loose pieces, I then put it in the oven for 10-20 minutes on 350F. I've also heard of another method where you can use bleach. Hope this helps
Do not use a heat lamp at night. The light disrupts their sleep, and they need the nighttime to cool off. Also please fill out the care sheet so we can address the issue properly.

I notice you didn't mention a uvb bulb... That for sure is a problem if you did not have one. Also it would be helpful if you filled out the care sheet.
Your basking spot temperature is too high for a baby. The temperature should not exceed 85 degrees, as they don't when they are burning themselves. You want the basking spot to be about 80-83 And lower throughout your cage. As for the eye problem I do not know, and hopefully someone more...
If your worried about burning your Cham, you will first need to measure the degrees of the basking spot. For a baby veiled you want between 80-83. Just don't let it exceed 85. If its hotter than 85 you want to elevate it until you get the desired temperature.
I'm liking the finished product. A lot better than my store bought screen cage. I'm jealous. I wouldn't recommend a fan because chameleons hate any air flow from air vents and such, and it might decrease the humidity, and I've read Jackson's like higher humidity. I think the screen at the back...
Hi, nice collection you have there. I have a few inputs on your cage. I don't know what your plans are in the future, but the sides should be a screened mesh, because chameleons need good ventilation. (Not all sides need to be). Also you are going to want to elevate your cage off the floor. The...
