Females are same size as males :) a guy I know has a breeding pair and are the same size. Size can be down to genetics, diet and overall care as with any animal.

don't reptisuns last a full year though? I use repti glow which is every 6 months, some reason I can't get hold of reptisuns in any pet stores around me.
