The bite didn't hurt at all. I was just holding her for a couple minutes and she just got more and more pissy and was just snapping continuously. Then I put her back :p.
But my finger is better now.
My chameleon just bit me. It's not bleeding but the spot looks irritated and it's starting to itch.
Now I'm curious if there's something in their saliva that makes that happen?
My Zina was very small the first few months I had her. She wasn't eating much at first, but she's gradually been eating more and now she's getting bigger. I haven't been home for three months, but my mom claims she is growing. I would imagine it's normal for them to be small sometimes. It just...
I still don't get the cup feeding technique. Any way I sit the cup the crickets can jump out..and my chameleon is too small to climb in and out of a cup. I honestly don't want a bunch of crickets jumping around in her cage because then I wouldn't know if she's eating or not. But she really needs...

I do have a laying bin, I've been in the process of trying to find play sand the past couple days...

* Handling - I handle her only to get her out to eat, every day. I find this a good way to build her trust.
* Feeding - Right now, only 3-4 crickets a day. I...
Honestly, I keep my red bulb on overnight, because like you...my room gets VERY cold at night since it's winter in Missouri. I sit it a decent distance from the cage though so it's not TOO warm. I have my space heater on for me, but I wouldn't think it reaches my cham.
I've had my veiled for a little more than a month, and she hasn't grown at all. If I recall the girl I bought her from said she was maybe 3 months. I feed her two dusted crickets everyday, some days I skip the dusting.
I have a 50w UVA light and a night glo light I keep on over night just to...
