Haha no problem! I'm usually the same way! As time goes on you just kind of get used to how weird chams are. A lot of times things that look worrisome turn out to be normal!

I did notice some poop in his cage when I cleaned it today, but now that I think about it, there definitely wasn't as much as there should have been. Shoot. That's probably the problem! Do you have any suggestions for how to treat that?

That sounds pretty normal! I know my boy basically doesn't move (or eat!) during his shed. Since their skin is basically just falling off all over the place, it's super uncomfortable for them to move around. He's probably just uncomfortable, waiting til his shed is over! As long as he's moving...

I'm not sure how much shipping costs, but my favorite site for cham supplies is petmountain.com. I hope you can find something affordable! Otherwise, building a custom cage is definitely cheapest, as mentioned above, but of course very time-consuming.

From this picture I don't see anything obvious...is there a reason you're worried about MBD? Are there any joints that look unusual?

Thanks for the responses, guys! After a little googling it does seem like the nails don't grow back, but they do wear down over time! Sounds like I'll just have to wait awhile, and they'll start dulling naturally. (Just putting this up here for anyone in the future who has the same question as me!)
