I have here a 12x12x18" exo-terra that I have no use for anymore. It included a UVA/UVB bulb with reflector, and it comes with a Flukers thermometer/hydrometer. I bought all of this about 2 weeks after Christmas and it has been washed WITH water very well. There are no scratches or anything that...
Oh god! I just found 2 more eggs in the back corner dug way into the moss! Yay!!! But the last egg wasnt anywhere near the other 2... oh well. But I have all 3 in the front now, and waiting for furter instruction! lol
I saw 1 egg sitting in the back of the tank laying right on top. I kinda looked for other around there but didnt see any, should I look some more?
Anyways, I picked the egg up and moved it into the front of the enclosure, and now I am going to be waiting for an answer from you guys as to what...
Ok guys, i have just been misting him directly the past week and the eye doesnt really look as bad. It is still half closed, and it is also sunken it. The bottom eyelid also droops lower than his other eye. So I have the option of going to the vet, or is there a website that I can order medicine...
Is there any website where I can findout what vets are local that deal with chameleons?
And also, I am just curious... what happens if this goes untreated?
The one pygmy cham I made a thread about before has his eye still halfway closed. I noticed it this morning again, so I took him out and got a closer look. The eye is very dry it looks like (eyeball), and the lid is like halfway closed and kinda crusty. I misted him directly in that eye today...
I would actually go with top soil if I had the choice again. The moss is nice, and looks great, but the chams keep getting it stuck to their tongues when they are eating. I am afraid they will eat one and get impaction or something! Maybe you could mix a little moss in the dirt for an added...
Can I keep male and female there?
Yes, for a 20g tank like you have, I would suggest a 1.2 (1 male and 2 females) or maybe a 1.3 (1 male and 3 females) group
For them to reproduce, I need them for different breeder or same clutch is ok?
I don't really understand what you are asking here.
Do I...
I know that if you want the best info, I would go and ask "roo" here on the forums. Just PM him, and maybe talk to him on the phone, or email. Obviously ask him first, but he knows his stuff about R. brevs!
Oh my god, thanks soooo much! But yeah, bim rolling his eye around must be that pulsing motion I saw. Now, I have noticed that the eye he bulged out the most is sometimes closed just a little more than the other, and just looks like its a little crusty maybe? Is that a problem?
