Glad no one got hurt. Cheap usually means no good. Same as the cheaper coil type UVB bulbs. They have not been fixed. Still causing lots of eye problems with tortoises. If they were actually fixed, they haven't hit most shelves yet.

My veiled turned 1 in February. It seems he is shedding all the time. He just got over a shed about two weeks ago and is now shedding again. What would make him shed so often or is this much shedding normal? Thanks Barb

I am not sure what is so different between their needs. Both need a higher humidity and both need warm day temps, cooler night temps. Now I do know the veiled can take much cooler then the frogs, but that is accounted for.

The frogs are in their own cage, inside the veiled cage. The frogs need a higher humidity, as the veiled does. The frogs also need approx. the same temps, however have their own heat source as they are too far away from the veileds heat source. I did it just because really. Also, to help...

I don't have much time, as my ipad battery is dying, so I ha don't been able to read everyone's post. However, you have to turn these people into the authorities. Just from what the few pictures you did get, the conditions are unexcuseable. Report them ASAP
