I don't know how fresh it is, but it looks just like the granules when I look the stuff up, and I just broke the seal on the 227 gram container, and it smells delicious.
They don't really need the bran part of the diet then?
I have always kept the orange cube in the fridge :)
Hey everyone. It's been a long time since my last visit.
I have a veil who has been with me for two or more years, and I FINALLY managed to get my hands on some bee pollen. I saw some last year when I was out of town on a fruit stand road trip, but didn't have any money!! Well fruit stand...
I feel like I'd have to chart her cycle for years to really get it. I have never really examined the timing before, I just notice her pregnant rituals (she's pretty obvious) and give her sand.
Looking into things, I've come to decide that my temps are naturally a bit low anyway, this time of year, so I don't know what I'll do at all, especially come summer, because my house is a sauna. I guess these tips just don't work for her.
Is it cruel to resign myself to the fact that she might...
Hey all. My veil just laid her third batch of eggs since I've owned her (about two years). So far it's been every 6 months, and six months ago, someone told me she lays too often and it isn't good for her. I asked about prevention, but no one answered me.
So now I'm wondering, what can I do...
Hey all. I have a few questions about my play sand.
So, my lady veil has been rooting around a lot lately, and I decided I needed to return her sand bin to her cage. However, I realized that I put it away wet after her last lay, and now it smells really musty and moldy.
Is it harmful to...
Ooh, are house bugs allowed for chams? I always thought house flies were supposedly the most disgusting creature on earth so wouldn't have thought to catch them and let my girl eat them. They can't get them sick?
Also, I was under the impression that super worms were too tough for the chams...
Good advice, everyone, thanks!
Maybe the challenge I really need is raising a baby boy just for what it is.
However, I do want to know more about slowing down her egg laying. When I got her, I had no idea what an adult cham looked like, so I thought she was juvi. I fed her twice a day, and...
That is the question!
I have had a female veil for a year now. She has laid infertile eggs with me twice. I assume she is about 2 years old, because she has not grown TOO much since I adopted her a year ago. (At least I don't think so. Some of my friends think she's grown a lot, but all I...
Unfortunately I neglected this post and no one will probably see this...
but what do I feed the plant with? Is miracle grow, for example, safe for the chameleon?
Hey all! I recently bought a ficus for my chameleon and I think she loves it. She eats it often, and it blows my minds because the leaves are large and they go straight through her. Talk about fiber!
Anyways, I was wondering if there is anything special I can do in my care for the plant to...
