thank you SO much, i’m putting a petco order in right now for new light fixtures, and multivitamin. I currently have Calcium with d3 but I didn’t use it anymore. And when you say two times a month do you mean two days out of the month? if so what days.
Apparently, I heard it was the best exotic vet around but i’m happy to take him somewhere else for extra examination. In the meantime do you think it’s okay to feed him carrot baby food? I picked some up it has no added sugars or preservatives.
Thank you so much!! I have the moss in there to keep humidity but what do you mean by bio active? Also do you have any suggestions for getting it warmer in there? And do you think the eye bubbling will go away with changes made to his husbandry or is it something to be more concerned about? I...
Unfortunately yes the eye thing has been a while even after multiple vet visits. I’m trying to purée some food for him so I can make sure he’s getting nutrients but I don’t know what to give him. I have canned carrots but just discovered they’re salted so I’m going to get something else so if...
My 4 month old chameleon currently has a vitamin a deficiency and which has made it hard for him to see and there for he’s not eating the dubia roaches, i’m syringe feeding him now to make sure he’s eating and getting vitamins and I’ve read that carrots are good for gutloading, I was wondering...

i’m really worried about my veiled chameleon, he’s about 4 months and i’ve been having lots of issues with him lately and took him into the best reptile vet in la and they said he was fine but potentially suffering from a vitamin a deficiency. I do believe that is the issue as...
thank you!! this was so helpful and comforting, I redid the entire terrarium so it’s a better environment and since then he/she’s behavior is right back to usual! Also set up a lay bin just in case but he/she doesn’t seem interested in it so guess we’ll have to see lol!
wow thank you so much, been meaning to update this post because things are much better! we got new calcium and updated the enclosure with more plants and things to do and he/she is significantly better! But a vet for future reference would be amazing if you happen to know of any around central...
he’s been acting weird, he’s usually very happy and willing to come out and is almost always displayed happy behavior and color but lately he’s been like this and appears bloated.
I’ve been working on trying to get a vet who actually knows a thing or two about chameleons but it’s been really hard to get in touch with someone in all of LA. The eye bubble situation just went away and haven’t happened since i was told it was just water in his eye and he was cleaning it but...
