Maybe I wrote the question wrong. My concern is ordering crickets, roaches, and worms in the winter. With the cold weather will companies still have a hard time shipping them out.

How hard is it to have live food for my chameleon shipped to me in the winter time. We do have some really cold winters here in northern maine.

I have 10.0 uvb blubs already. Would that be way to much for a cham?

i appreciate everyone's helpful information. Now I'm just undecided on if it would be healthier to go with roaches or crickets. I really prefer roaches though. With a virility of different worms. Gut loaded of course.

Craigslist in my state only has dubia's and i don't normally ever see that.

Is there any good places that i can purchase bulk roaches. I used to get my crickets from Ghanns.

Are Crickets a must when it comes to feeding your Chams as appose to roaches.. Crickets smell sooo bad.

I'm stuck between the veiled cham, but I'm more drawn to the Panthers.

I do believe a screen cage would be best. I'm most concern about winter months as they are pretty dry and cold. Would any of you have any good recommendations on the best place to purchase a 18x18x36 or 24x24x48 cage?
