Is This a Male or Female Veiled Chameleon?

Hi, I recently purchased a Male veiled chameleon from Tiki Tiki Reptiles at the Las Vegas Reptile Expo. The day after I realized I didn't see any spurs on the back feet of him, so I went back to the reptile expo and spoke to workers. They gave me the whole talk about the spurs and how small they can be and that they're sure they gave me a male.

Here are some pics of the feet, do you think it's a male or female?

Thank you

Are you sure the other one isn't actually the male? Did you get them both from tiki tiki?

Yes, I bought the male on the first day and noticed it had no spurs.

I went back the next day and they assured me it was a male so I went ahead and bought a female, that one for sure is a female and they both have no spurs.

Email them and ask about returning the extra female in exchange for a male. They should take care of it.

Mmh, I know about some female veileds with spurs, but not about males without. Please ask the seller why he's certain about this chameleon being a male one... would be really interesing ;).

Yep, yours definitely looks female to me! My Amy has small spurs on her back feet - I call them her 'man feets', lol! :D At one stage a lot of people on here (me included) thought she was male due to her spur like heels, but she is 100% female as she has laid a clutch of infertiles and she has the females' appetite too!

I bought a "male" from a ZooMed Rep. He reassured me it was a male. A week later "he" laid eggs. I didnt know much about Chameleons then. Good luck, hopefully you do get your male.
