Jake and the glove sitting in a tree....

My male veiled needs a GF. Yesterday I was feeding the chams and forgot to latch Jakes cage. I have never seen him do this before, but he managed to push it open. His cage is tough to close, which is why I don't always latch it. Well it was kinda early for a Sunday so I went back to bed. Two hours later I woke up and his cage was open, and he wasn't in it. I started to look around and found him right away. He was on the bottom rack of the cages and making sweet love to a brown garden glove. He looked up at me and went back to it... So I picked him up and took a picture. He didn't stop for anything. I even put him on the couch and he ended up rolling off.

Here he is on the glove:

The funny thing about this morning, he must be looking for some more action. So I opened his cage and he started to climb down like he was going to where the glove was. I pushed him back into the cage... he didn't want to go... So i took the glove and placed it at the other side of his cage. He fired up nice and pretty and slowly moved toward the glove... then I moved it up high in his cage... he looked around for the best route and started climbing for it. I took it out of the cage and closed the cage up. This is some serious puppy love! Right now he is sitting just behind the cage door staring at me prolly cursing up a storm for teasing him with his lover.:D
 
LOL!!! That is too funny Man! I have asked around before but I can't seem to find one; They need to make a Cham Blow Up Doll!:D

You have a ding bat for a cham. hehehehe Better find him a lady.
 
Kevin, In my personal experience mating makes them want it more. After McLovin got some action he was going nuts, very restless like he was looking for more. He can't see the ladies from his cage, but I can tell that he knows they they are around. He has always been one cham that really doesn't mind being handled... But ever since he saw me pt a female in there for him... If I open his cage, he will literally reach for my hand... and if I put it there, he rushes out onto my arm, and immediatley starts looking for the ladies. It is pretty funny. I've even had him sitting on my shoulder while I was surfing the forum one afternoon, and I felt a funny rubbing, Yeah, He was doing the Hemepine bump and grind on my shoulder!:eek: He is going to be asking for that glove for weeks!

HAHAHAHAHA thats is the most ridiculous story I have EVER heard about a Cham!!!! HAHAHAHA..... ahh my eyes are watering and my side hurts!!! Dang u better get him a GF quick!!!

I also know this from my personal experience ;)

Actually Gesang's have had this with their veiled, Guido. He actually had a favorite red garden glove if I remember right.

LOL...What is it about a GLove that these guys are after!?!?! I guess for these Chams there is a whole other meaning for the Phrase "Like a Glove."
I can hear the Chams talking to eachother now...

Cham #1: "How was she man!?!?"
Cham #2: "Like a Glove!"
Cham #1: "You lucky Punk!"

the flood gates have been opened, i also experienced increase in activity, being agressive, eating less, and being very adventurous.

i think you see a major change when firing him up with a mirror as well, instead of just firing up, attacking ect...

one thing you are going to want to watch out for....................................... sperm plugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get a needle handy you gunna be getting pretty close to this guy when the time comes....

Yes, Royden, it was a garden glove (a green one, though). But that wasn't his first love. His first love was "Suzie" a chameleon beanie babie. He spent a whole night with her and walked bow legged the next day. He didn't think it was very funny when I had to pick the lint out of his vent!

The first time he saw her his whole countenance lit up. He came crashing (and I mean crashing, like a gorilla through the jungle) down from his tree toward her. I had to be careful about propping her up in the branches real good because Guido didn't realize she couldn't hold on.

After a night with her (at least once I found him asleep on her the next morning) he would not want to see her again for a while. He would get kind of hostile, so we would remove her from his free range area and put her in a cabinet. A month or so later we would bring her out and he'd go at it again.

The glove was better because it wasn't so "linty". We stuffed it with polyester batting and placed it in his range for him to play with.

We did this so he would not try to hump my hand when I fed or watered him.

But he would still stalk across the floor occasionally to go for my feet. Yes, Guido has a foot fetish, too.

Eventually we got him some real girl friends.

Ok so I am not the ONLY one with this issue hahaha.

I had a pic of him humping my computer speaker, but I think it was taken with my iPhone.... I need to find the picture before I ship my phone to Greece!:eek:
