His big boy Sambava colors just keep getting better and better! He's finally just over 5 inches snout to vent and is a whopping 75 grams. Still seems very little for an 11 month old though :)

This is him sleeping before he had shed.

His pretty red throat that is also white (which I LOVE!)

Showing some nice color. The flash washed it out, but his bars were kind of purple in this one.

Thanks guys :) He's my little boy, but he's really starting to get big now. I can't wait til he gets even more red! :)

I'm really impressed with his colors. His daddy is Patron who is pretty much only green with an orange throat so I wasn't expecting all this yellow :)

He didn't actually grow for the first month when he ate non-stop. He grew about a gram and a half or two. Soooo, I don't know what happened but he didn't grow when I fed him unlimited amount of food. He actually grows faster now that he only eats 7 or 8 bugs a day (max, his choice) compared to when he would eat 10-20.

Great looking Sambava. To be honest my 6-7 mo faly is almost the same size and weight as Hyperion. Hes just a little slow to mature. His colors are going to be awesome in a few more months. Sambavas are one of my faves.

He's definately a bit behind most others, but I think he'll be just fine.

I accidentally left his cage open this morning and he decided to go for a stroll ontop of his enclosure. He was right next to his dripper looking down at me while I was trying to find him in his cage. :) He put up a fight when I tried to put him back in. :D

You need to buy your guys a plant or tree and let them take turns free ranging a bit when your home this summer to keep an eye on them. I bet Pan would be much nicer out of the cage. :)

My mom and I have been looking for some big plants. We found a somewhat tall ficus, but it looked like it might have been on its way out, and it was cut it a ugly shape... We're looking though! I want to set up a free range in an extra bathroom we have so when I mist the water just drains (in the tub) that way and I can open up the window for some real sun!

His sleeping colors just keep getting brighter and brighter. He started to wake up a little and started to turn green but the green was pretty much all yellow before that. Sorry they're a little blurry. :)

Just woke up.
