I've just collected 18 eggs from my quadricornis female and i'm so excited!!! :D
now i'll incubate at 18-19°C for the night and 22-23°C for the day with a ratio of water and vermiculite of 1:1.. i hope to have success with them!! i still can't believe it..:p

Congratulations! Just a word of advice, incubate at a steady temperature of 72 (22c). I found the up and down in temps lead to lower hatch rates. :)

Good luck either way!

Luis

I've always read to give a difference of temp between day and night.. it helps to have stronger babies.. also on Necas book is written to do like this!!

Thanks a lot anyway!! ;)

For what it's worth i kept my clutch at the same temp the entire time and 9 out of 9 hatched healthy.
i am excited for you to finally have eggs.:D:D

Congrats on the eggs.

Not to argue or fight...and not trying to change your mind in any way.
The reason I would not change the temps on a daily or nightly basis is because it doesn't replicate how the eggs would be in the wild.
My thoughts are, why change or complicate things more then what nature does for the eggs?
Why not just keep it simple as you have enough to deal with? ;)

Oh, again, congrats on the eggs.

Harry

Great clutch!

Hope every one hatches at whatever temperature you choose. Please let us know when they do emerge.

Warm Regards.

Yes they're going on without any problems!! but it's just half way now..
Thanks for your interest Tom ;)

Sounds good Jack!
This morning when I checked my eggs from Tr.quad. quad., there was a new neonate born. So I hope this evening when I turn back all 6 will hatch(or maybe later).

Best regards,
Tom

Hello everybody! Yesterday i checked the eggs in the incubator and i saw that some of them aren't in good shape.. :( i think it was a humidity problem so i added some water and i hope all of them now will return ok!! I'll post some pics of them and also of the female that looks pregnant again!! :D

You can see the eggs with problems in the top of these 2 pics (4 eggs in total)

And here we are the lady sleeping!!

Now this rings a bell, I knew I've seen that pregnant lady before! You just got on Doelgroep Kameleons forum ;)

Hopefully the rest of the eggs will stay alright.

Jack, I will cross my fingers for your clutch!
Lett us hope that your eggs are still okay.

Do you know the humidity from your vermiculite or the weight from the box(with vermiculite and eggs) when you started the incubation process?

Best regards,
Tom
