Elly's 5 weeks old (NEW PICS)

Elly seems to be doing fine. She’s grown a tad but still very tiny. She’s more active now so that makes me feel allot better. Her eyes have been very sensitive to the UVB light and anytime I put her under the light her eyes will itch and she’ll rub and scratch them so I’ve had to take her outside allot. I’m constantly moving her around to different places in my back yard to keep her temps at 80. If I weren't home all day to care for her she would have probably died.

She was one month old last week and had her first shed on her one month bday. Her casque is staring to pop up on her little head. I’m already in love with her and she’s spoiled rotten as all my pets are.

Aw Jann! Elly is so awesome! I want one haha. I love the shedding pics. What kind of camera do you use? Im thinking of buying one in the future since all i have is my iphone camera :p

Very nice photos

She is such a cutie. Those close up photos are amazing I wish I could get my photos to come out that well.

Oh Jann! She is adorable! I am so glad she's doing well - she was meant to be! :D It's a good job you are home to get her through, with all the extra care that she has needed. She is in the right place with you.

Hi Jann!

Elly is just the cutest darn little girl ever! She is like your little surpise blessing! Thank you for sharing the pics she looks really great! :p

Jann, Ms. Elly looks fantastic!! and you do really take great pictures. I know she is going to be a real beauty - just like her brothers and sisters! Keep up the good work.

Jann she must have been love at first sight. That little girl is adorable. I do hope things improve for her eyes. It is awful for something that tiny to be uncomfortable. Thanks for the pictures.

what a cutie Jann!!!!! how could anyone resist those "big ole eyes" looking at them?
she is very lucky you kept her, i know she'll be worth it!!! :D

thanks for letting us see her!!!!

Thanks guys for your kind words and compliments on Elly and her photos. We have a Nikon D80 and used the AF Micro Nikkor 60 MM 1:2.8D lens.

dear Jannb,

I regret to inform you that Camele is no longer the cutest female. Elly now is. :D

she is so awesome looking and you are doing a wonderful job with her. thank you so much for sharing some photos of her with us.

Jann...you seriously have the luck of the pixies with chams. What a gorgeous little girl. I am glad you got to keep one...who needs a downstairs loo :)

Awwwwwww, jannb - she's just adorable! I don't care who you are or how tough you think you are no one could possibly look at Elly and not just melt!

I love the free range setup - it's a really great idea to put the pot with the ficus in a larger pot to build a kind of "moat" around her little habitat!

OK - now being nosey. What is in the clear, cylinder container to the right of the pot on the table in one of the pics??? Looks like a bunch of roots growing in it but I'm just being nosey now!
