Swyft enjoyed some outdoor time on the porch on his hibiscus but he was super restless. I had to redirect him about 5 times because he wanted off the plant and onto the porch railing. (which would not be good, it has a post that runs up to the roof) I fed him a cricket but he didn't appear exceptionally hungry so I don't think he was looking for food. (he had a small breakfast)
I brought him back inside to his cage. Then, since I was going to be in the room for an extended time on the computer I decided to open his cage door and see if he would come out. I had the spare bedroom door closed and watched him. Sure enough, he has been exploring casually all around the room. I hope to be able to do this more often as I hate that he sits in a cage all day, he is so active.
He'll have to go back in soon as its dog-feeding time but for now he really seems to be enjoying himself. He is not puffed up, not running, just casually climbing stuff. That tail of his is amazing, the way he always has it slightly hooked around something.
