Just picked these two up yesterday. Both from different mothers. Hopefully I got a 1.1. We'll see. Wish I had a better camera. I'll try again later for a better pic.
Enjoy.

PK? Did you guys end up getting that red-headed pair of quads down there?

No, they were already gone...

BTW and off topic... when I hit "quick reply" it promps a quote. Why is that? I have emailed Brad, but he hasn't gotten back to me.

Look, I'm hijacking my own thread...

Josh

Great Josh ! Are those the normal ones or the willegensis ?

Yes, they are the willegensis....suposibly. If not, they are certianly overpriced xantholophus. We will see when they get a bit older. I'm not a jackson expert by any stretch of the imagination.

Bummer! Those quads were soooo tempting. Did you get the j.j.'s down there? I'm going to go by later today for some reef tank stuff but will look at the chams, of course. I didn't know the other female had her clutch, also. Did they give you a deal?

Benny, of the 3 males they received at the store where I'm so far assuming Josh got them, 2 of them were the "willegensis" form while the other seemed to be a standard green.

Edit: Oh, not sure what's up with the quick reply button. I remember it having problems before. I think I saw Brad had replied to a recent thread about it.

Yes, she had them. I didn't get to see the mothers, but they assured me that's what they were. Yes PK. They did 25% off reptiles and 20% off merch yesterday for the 4th. That's all they would do. I tried..

Not too bad a price, then. I sure hope they do well, I'd try keeping them outside as much as possible. I think my recent "Trioceros Feeding Pics" thread has some pics of the male I got that came in with the mothers of your guys. My F1 female is now very unreceptive to him so hopefully I'll have some F2's in my future.

Btw, here's my very first thread when I found this site: https://www.chameleonforums.com/baby-c-jacksonii-jacksonii-3322/

No, I've heard there are one or more NEW subspecies to be described soon. If I remember correctly, one is from Kenya and smaller than merumontanus.

Kenya

Benny,

You better remember us during your kenya trip. Take a bag and detour to the U.S. after you go and fill it up.

Josh

I heard the same from Jan Stipala and then again from Rob Pilley in a post on ADCHAM (Jan. 7, 2009 post). I believe Jan is the one primarily working on it but I do not know how far he is on the description or when he is planning on publishing it.
