YES !! she has 6 babies - they are sooooo cute- TOTALLY unexpected - it is so funny how things work out.... thanks to my mantis, I have pinheads due to hatch, and 2 very large fr/ fly colonies going - there WERE going to be food for them, but not now - lol
Laurie and I have a "who pooped the biggest " contest with Annie and Olive every week- ( cuz we all know its about the poop:p ) - lol I thought the first one was a huge poo- I took it out, and about won the contest myself when the little "poop" all of the sudden just stretched right out in my hand ! I looked just like a mushy snail shell- that is what I thought it was- now that Olive is eating snails I be sure to watch for any shell or anything odd in her stool - well, this was sure a nice surprise :D no wonder she had been crabby !! she is resting - I am so proud of her :D but I had given up she was graved , as she started to look normal ( not as fat as she was ) I just was looking at thread on how to set up baby cages, planing for babies a YEAR from now - guess she did not want to wait that long :p one is already as crabby as Olive, he gaped at Emmy- lol

little leaf that is so cute!
My son David has some chameleon eggs, and I am going to visit him next weekend.
I think I will miss the hatching from what he says but I would really love to see them.
Congratulations on your new little ones :)

Congratulations Cheryl and Olive....those are so darn cute, I mean soooooo cute!!....how much fun it is to watch them grow, I want to see more pics....in the mean time, let Olive rest all she wants.

Congratulations! Jackson's babies are oh so cute! Chameleons can be crabby, but heck, who cares? We love them all the same:)

thanks everyone-:D
Olive sure has been a sneaky one lately :p first snails, now babies :D
she is resting, keeps going back to her "birth corner" - she had them all in one corner of the cage - she would have a baby, then go bask - then go have a baby - lol I just KNEW she was not acting normal this am , and she had been showing alot of red on her sides- at least 2 of the babies have the red on them like she does - they are all so cute :D

Congrats, I was wondering when I would see a thread about her babies! I knew she was pregnant.

When Cheryl called me after the first one, I wanted to say "told you so" but she was a wreck so I couldn't do it. I walked her through it even I have never seen a live birth. I am so jealous. Maybe some day. Congrats to Olive, & Cheryl. Big congrats to Emily, Cheryl's daughter, the hands on helper.:D

Wow, Olive did not want bunnies to have all the fun around Easter time! Just awesome and congrats!!!

why didn't you tell me then :p:D - they are doing well so far- all showing nice greens and little tan/reds on them - I know Jacksons don't show "graved' colors ( or do they?) but for the last few days Olive had really bright red tri-angles on her with red spots- this is a pic I took of her last night , because I was going to post and ask about why her reds were so red lately - guess we know why now :D this is her sleeping last night - and look how bright they still are - sorry for crappy pic- this is not the pic I was going to post originally - I was going to take some of her today, and tonight- lol - but now she is back to her normal sleeping colors - I just love her :D and I am so glad she is doing fine - and the babies - so cute I can not stand it !!!
Thanks again everyone- I am on cloud 9 :)

LOL -the birth was amazing- nothing like horses- lol it wore her out tho- she made little squeak sounds she pushed so hard-but like threw her lungs or something - it was sad :( Em got her having one of the slugs- but I made her get rid of the video because all you hear in the back ground is me freaking out talking to you on the phone - about what happened w/ the first one - Thanks again for all your help Laurie :)

ooooook - lol - really, at first I thought she was, but then in the last few weeks I even told Laurie I thought she looked like she was getting thin - I have made 2 apt to have her dewormed, thank god I had to miss both of them -
I am a little nervous with them- I did read and read about babies a while ago, but I still am nervous - I just hope I dont let them down - Olive will have my hide if I do not take good care of her babies

Congrats! Exciting and scary all at once. I wish you luck with them.

you have nooooooooooo idea :p I am excited, and nervous- but I have everything I need ( I think) I started collecting things a while ago just for babies - but did not plan to use it for at least a year - lol
