Well i picked up my cage from a nother member on here this morning and decided i would throw everything togehter to see how it was all gonna fit. I got the cage, trees, clamp light, and hand pump mister from him which was super cool and saved me a tooooon of money. Anyways, tomorrow im going to home depot and get some small dowels to perches and probably to petco for some "vines". Besides those everything is set up!!

Cage is 16x15x30 with 2 ficus, an 18" 5.0 UVB tube, clamp light with 40 watt bulb. It is going to be sitting on my dresser next to my bed, the top of the cage is probably just under 7' tall. Its basically the lowest traffic area in my apt so I dont see anything being a problem. In hte pics the clamp light is at a retarded angle and has a different bulb in it. Its on the list of things to fix tomorrow, a few nails in the wall should be a good mounting point for the light to be right where i need it. a few ??s

The stupid velcro on the thermo/hydrometer wont stick to the wire mesh, if i made a "cradle" out of bent paper clips to hold it there shouldnt be a problem for now as long as its out of the Chams reach right?

Exactly how humid is their cage supposed to be? Ive never really seen or read about a definite range. i jsut know basing temps

and any recommendations about drainage? Im at a little bit of a loss for ideas right now

I think thats it, constructive criticism and comments welcome :)
Here is everything

humidity levels 40-50% is fine, when you mist it should bump up to 70% or more and hang that way for a good few hours.

Looking good.

A cheap, fast, and simple solution to drainage is to just go buy a tub larger than the cage. WalMart has sweater tubs that are perfect for this. Lay a couple of boards across the tub and set the cage on the tub. Of course you need some holes drilled into the bottom of the cage. This will do until you come up with a better more custom way to handle drainage. And best of all, you just reused the tub on the custom setup.

For my drainage I actually built a wood stand for my cages to sit on and have either something large (one has a massive dog kennel under it) to sit the tub on or I built a shelf into the stand for the tub.

Very nice! I would recommend adding some horizontal vines and branches about 6 to 8 inches down from the top. Also I would replace that coil bulb with a regular household bulb for basking.

Guys...readin is fundamental. In his original post he says the coil is not the bulb he intends to use, and it will be fixed soon.
