What kind of Snake & Toad is this?

I pulled these two out of the pool this morning and just wondered what kind they might be?

Juvenile black racer and Bufo americanus.

Could be a cane toad so I would not let it go just yet...

I bet the snake was after the toad.

Ozzie, Could be but the toad was much bigger that the snake and they were at opposite ends of the pool.
