It sucks! Sorry to be so blunt. Some people can make it work but it is loud and spits more than mists.

Make your own perhaps? Those automated systems the sell seem nice but they are expensive (though I hear well worth the investment) and the more chams you have I guess the higher the benefit.

I just reread and see you were talking about the fogger not the mister. Either way If you could afford it a herpmist or mist king.
If you want to only raise humidity , a cool mist humidifier from somewhere like walmart would be ideal.

SO I am thinking of getting the big enchalada system from herpmist.com for my larger cage. What should I get for my smaller female cage. Do I use the same system, or can I use something smaller?
I noticed that the misting system from mistking.com didnt come with any reservors, do you supply your own resivor such as a bucket?
Lastly I hear alot of talk about nozzels...what exactly do they do, and why is it so good to have so many of them?

in your case, you can use 1 enchilada system and ask for an extra nozzle and T fitting union
So, you can use 1 pump system for 2 cages. You don't need to buy an extra misting system for each cage
. That is just freaking expensive and unnecessary.The nozzle is where the water came out in mist form.

Ok...So if I set up the big enchalada system for both cages do I need to order additonal parts to have it work for both? Will the same about of psi and timmed sprayings work for both cages, or will they need to be set up on different intervals? What is a good number of times to spray a day, and how long? How do you prevent water from collecting on the bottom of the cage?

I was looking on the herpmist web site about ordering their big enchalada system....there are alot of options to choose from. Such as 1. the spray pattern for the two nozzels.... 2. drip reduction..... and 3. Nozzel motion range. Do you have any reccomendations for thoes options?

i have the normal 80degree reduced drip and it works fine for my 2x2x4 and my 3x2x4 cage. normal motions range is sufficient.

Hi Dan,
Thanks very much for considering us! The Big Enchilada is the 100% complete, just add water system. It will run lots of nozzles (16 at least, possibly more depending on your setup). Add a couple screen adapters and you're good to go for both of your cages and prepared for many, many more cages to come!
98% of the nozzles I sell are the red 80° Low Flow Nozzles. Some folks on here like to use the cream nozzles and lower the pressure on the pump to get more of a "splatter/rain" effect, ala Dave Weldon. You don't want a lot of water flow into the cage unless you have a good drainage system, so the low flow ones are the way to go for most folks.
The Drip Reduction keeps the water from falling out of the nozzles when the pump shuts off. You get a few drops instead of a few minutes' worth of drops.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks so much for the reply, that was a huge help. Can I regulate the flow of the nozzles individually? I am thinking I would want less flow into my small cage. Also, do I need T- junctions to split the hose for different nozzles? Lastly, what is a good interval to set them at in the cage?

Dan, you probably won't need a lower flow rate into the smaller cage. However, I do have a Precision Flow Adjuster that will do the trick. I'd rather you give it a shot and decide if you need it later than sell you a $7 fitting you may not use.

The screen cage adapters put the nozzles in the perfect position for most cham cages. I ran two nozzles in my 4x2x2 cage, but recommend starting with just one per cage to see how you and the chams like it first.

OK...So I am purchasing the big enchilada... and I want to get one of those precision flow adjusters, can I find that on the website? I dont need any fittings to split the hose into two cages. I am going to get both nozzles to be the low flow 80degree ones.
