I went an ordered the wrong UV tube for my cham, instead of ordering a zoomed 5.0 i ordered 10.0. Only noticed when it came in the post. Would it be ok to use or to much UV?

Don't use it, it is known to damage your chameleon's eyes! Just play it safe with the 5.0! =)

I use the Reptiglo 10.0 on Amy's viv, and Lily had the same bulbs when she was in that viv too. I have kept chams under them for 2.5 years now and never had any problems. It also depends on how tall the viv is and how thick the screen is on top. Amy is in an Exo Terra and the mesh is quite thick, as is the mesh on the Flexariums.

Well Mia's cage is just under 5ft, Tiff aint it just the compact 1s that can cause eye problems?

10.0

I have been using 10.0s for a couple of years on adults and baby's with no problems. And if you use screen cages zoo med recomends the 10.0 the screen filters out a lot.

All mine have been 10, jacked up a few inches above the screen,

no issues here, and the nearest basking spot about 6 inches down from the mesh. It a bit of a grey area as i here loads of people use them. and some people say its bad?.
