Yellow Crooked-Neck Squash plant?

My girl friend and I just got done building a new home for a 1 year old Veiled Chameleon. We have safe safe plants about ready to plant and fill in the cage but some one brought in Yellow Crooked Neck Squash plant to work today. Would this be okay to plant in her new house or should I just stick to what I know is healthy and safe?
