hey guys so i finally got my male cham .... sorry drew i couldnt find yer booth i got him from chroma.... any way hes loving his new home just a few questions ... ive noticed he likes to spend 25% of his time down in the foliage his humidity at the top (in the basking spots) is around 50% and down in the foliage is around 85 - 90% top aread is about 28 degrees and bottom around 22 could he just be down there for the extra humidity... or is the temps wrong... he seems quite healthy loves to eat any suggestions the enclosure is 2 by 2 by 4 all live plants any suggestions?

Another forum member got a male from me a few months ago and had the same situation. Eventually his fella got less timid. He is most likely getting comfortable with his surroundings.

Also , keep in mind , I had him sharing a cage with clutchmates that was about 1/3 the size of yours, so he isn't used to all the space yet.

Temps should be between 72- 85F, bottom to top.

It's about time! How many did you get through in the end? :p

As said, just give him some time to settle. He'll be fine!

Do we have any pictures of the little fella? :D

I just put my Sub adult male Blue Bar in a 100g Reptarium, up from 36g. He didnt like the abrupt change, but he recognized the potted plants from his last terrarium and shot right for them at the bottom of the enclosure. He hid in his dwarf ficus for about 2 hours, he did come out and scale back to the top of his cage though. Still a bit timid, but he gets better by the day.
