I got a WC Faly today with worms visable under the skin. Im treating with Panacur. Im wondering, what happens to the worms under the skin when they die from the treatment? Will they remain visable?

I have delt with this in my wc befor panacur dosnt kill the worms under the skin. You have to get them removed .... Do you have any pics you can post up?

Ill try get some in a few days when hes settled. Its definately worms, the vet said so, she also said they would die from drinking the blood of the cameleon that is treated with panacur as it is ingested and ends up in the blood. Ive seen a how to thread on here about removing them, is it really as simple as it appears?

They'd die and are absorbed/removed by the body - unless there are too many in which case toxic shock can kill the chameleon.

I thought Subcutaneous nematodes are usually removed surgically - making an incision in the skin, pulling out the worms and then suturing the incision if needed.
