Worms for Jackson Chameleon

I have a 4 month old Jackson Chameleon. I've had him for about a month now he has only eaten crickets (and one or two house flies that flew into my room). I would like to provide him a bit more variety, so I am thinking about getting him some fruit flies soon. But I was also wondering about worms. There are several different kinds, but what would be best for him?

He's most likely pretty small still - Phoenix worms work I like the ones from phoenix worms they don't turn into flies as fast- but the you can get them as "calci-worms" at petstores - Silkworms are my girls favorite. Hornworms grow so fast that it's hard to get them small enough.
You can get house flies (stabble) that are bigger than fruit flies - or blue bottle from mantisplace.com Jackson's usually love them. If your calci worms turn into flies - feed him the flies they like them too- at 4 months fruit flies are a little small - you can make a couple of cultures and have a steady supply though.
