Worm found in enclosure

I found a reddish worm in my enclosure today, relatively close to a poop. It had aggressive movements. Any idea if its parasitic? It was about an inch long and skinny.

Thanks!
Ash

Ascariasis, hookworm and whipworm are parasitic worms. They're known as soil-transmitted helminths (STH) because the infection spreads through contaminated soil. Ascaris, sometimes abbreviated as A., is the group of worms that cause ascariasis. The worm looks like the common earthworm.

Ascaris worm. They get pretty long but a juvenile can be 1in. Similar to earth worm. Not saying that's what you have there. But its worth considering.
