I have a DIY screen cage that size, and to hang my pothos I laid a bar across the top of the cage and looped some picture wire around it to inside the cage so that my plant wasn't putting pressure on the screen but is hanging really from that bar.

Buy a Hibiscus or other "Cham safe" plant

They're sturdier than hanging plants are and they give your cham plenty of cover.
Just be sure to thoroughly wash the entire plant first, since many stores/nurseries use insecticides or fertilizers on their plants. (The employees may have no idea about this, so wash the plant instead of asking them.)
Bring a tape measure to the store, so you get one that's not too tall or too small.

I have heard of stringing heavy duty fishing line for the climbing plants to wrap, but haven't tried it myself with my little enclosure.

you can just go to home depot or lowes and get some 1*1's and make a little frame around the outside of the cage so you don't have to worry about putting any pressure on the cage frame for the potho's plant!!!

but does it boar out the wholes in the screen when it sways

Nope. I haven't had any issues with that at all. I just made sure that the wire went through the screen at the same distance of the width of the bar and haven't had any issue with damage to the screen at all.
