Woke up to an empty cricket bin

Well this morning I woke up and went outside to grab some crickets for my chameleons and I found my cricket bin upside down with no crickets inside. My best guess is that our gardener must have knocked it over yesterday evening...

Atleast it wasn't indoors...

Uh oh. :( Do you have raccoons around? Maybe they wanted the cricket's food, or even the crickets themselves?

At least you didn't trip going up the stairs with an open bin of crickets... We were hunting them down for weeks :D

Geez, reading that actually made me feel much better. I can only imagine how much that would suck... If this had been indoors, I could kiss my hobby goodbye.

lmao. thats what mu husband says about the roach bin...

What roaches?!? Do you mean the banana beetles and giant rollie pollies??? I don't see no roaches...

:D

That sucks! I have had a couple escape the cage...somehow, but never a total loss. Hate having any loose, but it's funny when my 2 year old daughter sees one...she points and just says "ki-ket" over and over, but she won't go near it lol. Did you have to go out and get more?

I did end up going out and getting some more, this time they are in a spill proof container inside my original container. I wonder what kind of damage 100+ large crickets can do in the next couple weeks. My fingers are crossed that they stay out of the house...for my own personal safety.

I HAD A BOX OF A THOUSAND ESCAPE LOL HAHAHAHAH my roommate lost his mind i mean he was a queen anyway and for some reason i guess cause his room smelt like goat cheese they all went to his room HAHAHAHAH i heard him slamming crickets for like weeks he deserved it anyway he was such a tool.

Oh No

I hate when that happens. I bought 100 crickets and my cat pushed them off the table. I came home to an empty bin, and a house full of crickets. It sucks!

Lmfao! There are forever crickets escaping in my house. Just this summer my cousin from the US and his friend came to stay with us. They went to one of the local sports shops to buy some new trainers and when his friend took his off to try a pair on a big *** black cricket came darting out from his shoe towards the woman helping him. Everyone in tne shop was jumping about screaming hahaha so I upped and left before they had the chance to blame me and left them to it :p
