Will he be ok after this

So I was just feeding my 4 week old baby veiled, and he caught a cricket. It was on the bigger side of what we have been giving him, and he got the tail end in his mouth and the cricket kind of turned and started fighting with him. He eventually let him go. Then he turned a dark leaf green color(as opposed to his usual light green), and refused to try to eat anymore. He wouldn't even try to eat any of the teeny tiny ones. Is this going to scare him away from crickets? I have some fruit flies that should be here by Wednesday. I am worried bc he hasn't eaten anything today. He has been averaging 1-2 crickets a day. Yesterday he only ate one. I will try again before bedtime, but I was just wondering what you all thought. I hope this doesn't scare him from crickets. I didn't think that one was too big, but I'm guessing it was. It was just a tiny bit smaller than the rest, but I won't be putting anymore that big in there. Thanks in advance for advice!

Something similar happened to me and my baby female veiled. It was not too big - but she caught it at a weird angle. It fought with her, she eventually got it; however, its leg was caught on her mouth. She tried for a bit to get it off, and eventually I helped her - she refused to eat until the nighttime!

The next day she was back to normal. Hope yours goes back to normal, too!

That makes me feel better to know my baby isn't the only one! :) I just looked at him and he is headfirst in his little feeder cup. Hopefully he eats something.
