Will dubia eat plastic/metal?

I know crickets will mow through vinyl screen(along with each other). I was thinking about using alum foil to put greens on for the dubia (the smaller ones are not acrobats) but i was concerned with them nibbling on the thin alum or plastic wrap.

Just toss em' in, they'll get eaten either way

Not sure about the foil though.. I hate coocaracha's and have not and don't intend to use them.. Ekkk
