so would it br safe to feed my cham wild caught dragonflies???cause the place where i go hiking there id a whole bunch of dragonflies all over the place and i wanted to catch some and feed them to my cham but wasnt sure if it was a good idea or not...oh yeah and also wild caught grass hoppers...???thanks...

No, but if you catch a male and a female you can breed them and they will be a safe meal for your chameleon:)

Grasshoppers=Yes, good eats.

Lubbers=No. Dont feed.

You should look them up, and make sure your aware of the difference. ;)

As far as I know, dragonflies feed on flies, and other small insects, so there is a parasite risk associated with them.

I dont feed dragonflies.

...and Lubbers.

That way you know the difference.

The lubbers are brightly colored, with yellows, blacks, reds, ect. very beautiful insect, but apparently deadly to chameleons.

Grasshoppers/katydids/other random bugs, I say if they are green, feed them. ;)

There are brownish grasshoppers too though, that are ok to feed.
