why does my cham sleep on the floor?

Could we see a picture of the enclosure?
Just to make sure there is ample foliage and sleeping areas.

Yeah, a photo would be great. If it happens 1 or 2 times a week it is ok. As others have said just cool him down at night and keep it very dark.

If I were you i would run outside and start hacking at sticks to get him some more walking area. I noticed that when my guy sleeps. He chooses some of the thinner branchers to grasp onto that is within cover. It could be that there is no comfortable place for him to sleep but on the cage floor.
