Well, after 6 seemingly endless months, my F. pardalis eggs have began to hatch!!!:D out of twenty eggs, three have hatched so far and the remaining eggs appear healthy and viable. The following photos speak for themselves and needless to say, these babies are going to be absolutely gorgeous! Thanks again, Jim (Chameleon Company), mom is doing great and I will keep you posted with baby progress! With this clutch, I have noticed that more of the yolk sacs are still attached to the neonates in comparison to my last clutch. Will these desiccate and fall off over a short period of time? As always, any advice is greatly appreciated and I hope you all enjoy the photos!:)

Congrats! Do neonates usually have the yolk attached? Does this put them at a higher chance of not making it or not?

Yayyy, congratulations. Hope they all hatch. Will you be selling any of them?

I sure will! Just send me a pm if you are interested and when they become old enough, I will work out a price. As for the yolk sacs, I have had them retained in past clutches. From what i observed, they usually dry up and become absorbed over time. I have just never had it happen to more then one neonate, so i am a little concerned.

Wow! Brilliance is indeed brilliant! I love the outstretched tail on the little one in the last picture - quite a contrast to the baby brevicaudatus I have before me.

congrats! i love the picture of the little one standing on the leaves! My last clutch of veileds had a few with the yolk sacs still attatched. i was worried at first but they all turned out ok. maybe i placed the eggs too close and some jumped the gun by a day or too?
