White nose?

My female veiled chameleon has a pale patch on her nose. Is this just her getting ready to shed?

I see why you were concerned because it was more cloudy. My chameleon looks like that too when his nose is shedding. I think that area just doesn't split as quickly, probably to make the shed easier to get off in the end and to keep it from getting in his way.
