When feeding your cham crickets, or anything for that matter, is it better to put it into a shallow cup and bring him out of the cage with your hand and feed him out of the cup, or is it better to release the bugs in the cage and let him eat at his own time! Thank you all so much!

There really is no best way. Some people hand feed, but in the cage, not out. Others free range feeders, others choose to cup feed. A shallow dish would most likely result in all your feeders getting loose. Most people use a cup that will help contain the feeders, so you know how many have been eaten. Taking a Cham out of the cage to feed then sounds very stressful for the Cham . Jmo
