Which is the best water for my Oustalet chameleons???

Hiya Im just about to mist my chameleons and thier vivs and wondering which is the best water to use? Hot water from my tap or normal room temprature spring water (I got them in containers from my local supermarket.)??

Which would you guys suggest I put in my plant sprayer?????

All help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Use the bottled water. Tap water can have lots of additives in it. ie flouride and calcium

Even tho it isnt as warm as the water from the hot tap?? Plus here in the uk there is no floride or calcium in our tap water (I think??).

You should find out exactly whats in your local water supply before giving it to your chams.
Better safe than sorry

For now Id use the bottled water. Warm it up in the microwave or boil it if you want it warm

Would you have it boiled as is Boiled water too hot for it????? Or will boiling water be ok (as long as I spray them from a good distance?)

You can micro it for 20 seconds. You want it just over room temps. Btw, Ive been misting for yrs and I use room temp water all the time. Its really not that imp.

Your chameleon won't freeze inside just because the water is cold...

Well some chams have a preference to water temps.

Pedro will run and get stressed when even a tiny droplets of room temp water touches him.

He wont drink it when Im misting unless its nice and warm.

My other chams dont really mind though, pedro is just a drama queen

Theres no Flouride if im correct but a lot of other metals that can harm them. Get some water confditioner thats what i use. Pretty cheap too.....
