where to u get them?

You can get them from LOTS of places... Check out our site sponsors and the forum classifieds, some members also sell them to thin out their colonies. :)

I just bought from 3 different members on the classifides section... It worked out really well and the prices were good..

for young ones, under 6 months, I give them as much as they will eat within 5 minutes, 2 or three times a day. That could be perhaps 10 or 12 small crickets plus a couple small larva (butterworm, superworm) or other.

From 6 months to approaching a year, it might be a bit less, perhaps 6 crickets (or equiv) a day

At one year they are basically adult size (although they do continue to grow slowly) and they need only 1-3 cricket sized insects a day. You could feed daily or every other day, or even every third day (adjusting the amount per feed accordingly). With females (if you are not breeding her) you do not want to overfeed as it can result in unnecessary big egg production.
