Whats wrong?

My panther chameleon started scratching the back of his head and also his back with his back leg. Similar to a dog scartching. i just but in a geranium plant in there like 10 minutes ago... does it has to do something with it????? he is a male 5 month old nosy be panther chameleon

ive never seen him shed before... i just got him 1 week and a half ago.... should i do something?? is that why he hasnt been eating much?

They can slow eating during shed time yes(they get grumpy)
All you can do is keep humidity up, and take pictures when it starts!

Can you post some pics of him? They will scratch sometimes if they itch! or if they are trying to remove shed.
