Whats with the 0.0?

So I think I have this figured out but I just wanted to be sure. When people have the 1.0 or 3.9 or whatever in their signature it means how many chams they have right? And I'm thinking the first # is males and the second females? Correct me if I'm wrong. So I would put 1.0 on mine cuz I just have 1 boy?

also, 1.1.10 means one male, 1 female, and 10 unknown genders or babies.
