I am building a side by side cham cage looking for ideas for the back of the enclouser it's made out of pine will be stained and I would like the back to be some what water proof let's see what everyone is using thanks everyone

Some posted interesting foam backs that they sprayed using nontoxic foam at Lowes/Home Depot.

I used kills oil based primer and that's it. This was on the inside of a stand with an open saltwater sump. There is no harsher environment and it held up great.

I'm doing cages for Parsons & using plastic 2×4 ceiling panels for lining the walls of the cages!
