I'm getting 500 Crickets next week and was wondering what would b the easiest fruit or vegetables I cud pick up at the local grocery store
..

Most any fruits and veggies, stay away from kale, broccoli and spinach

And kiwi!! Basically any fruit or veg you would eat yourself is a good choice! Sandrachameleon has some excellent blogs on gutloading feeders, right down to listing the vitamin & mineral content in each one! Kale, broccoli, spinach and kiwi have quite a bit of phosphorus that in large doses, can harm your Cham!

I wouldn't avoid Kale. Just do not use it every day, possibly once a week. The others you can avoid. Diversity is key. I recommend using butternut squash, kale, romaine lettuce, collard greens, mustard greens, alfalfa, dandelions, hemp seeds, sesame seeds, walnuts, almonds, and flax seeds. Then add a dry gutload to the mix, one with spirulina algae, bee pollen, marigold, turmeric root and dandelions work excellent.

I dont like using food from the store this is just my personal preferance. it takes alot of time and sometimes if u leave the food in the cricket container long enough it gets moldy. i reccoment getting bug burger by repashy, if you get a 14 oz it will last you way over a year and its only 15 - 20 bucks. but if not its all preferance! you can get kale, carrots, any kind of fruit, potatoes, just think of healthy things!
