Hi there
I own a baby veiled chameleon and I was wondering...
a) what watt light bulb should I buy for his red night time heat light?
b) what watt light bulb should I buy for his day time heat lamp?
You shouldn't need a heat source for it at night unless your temperatures drop below he mid 60s....and then it's recommended that you use a ceramic heat fixture.
For a basking light you can use a regular incandescent household bulb of a wattage that puts the temperature in the basking area in the low 80's for a baby veiled....if it's a "teenager" you can bump he basking temperature up to the mid 80's.
You also need a UVB light during the day. The most often recommended is the long linear Repti-sun 5.0.
