I'm just starting my cricket keeping. I've seen lots of good suggestions for what veggies are good for gut loading. And I plan on using alot of them such as squash, romain, and carrots. But what I havnt seen alot of are which veggies to avoid. I read spinach, broccoli and tomatoes can be toxic. Are there any others with a deffinate red flag on them? Just because ill prob toss in some trimmings from our dinner veggies, and I wanna make sure I'm not using toxic gutload. Thanks a bunch. (it seems like this cricket keeping is actually more complicated than the Cham itself haha)

Dont use Large amounts of broccoli, cauliflower, BokChoy, spinnach, rhubarb, beet leaves, parsley, cassava, watercress, kale, chives, brussel sprouts, corriander, collards, leek, Chard, Soy Bean, eggplant, etc. Basically Limit use of anything high in phytates, Oxalic Acid, Goitrogens - they are not toxic, just not good in large amounts.

Do not use Potatoe leaves, potatoe sprouts/peel, green potatoes, as well as tomatoes leaves and stems are toxic.

Limit use of grains, portabella mushroom, peaches, bananna, white potatoe flesh, and other items higher in phosphorous than calcium (a little can be very good, a lot is not unless you compensate to fix the ratio).

Avoid apple seeds, peach pits, cherry pits, appricot pits, avocadoe pits (not like you were planning to use these, but just in case)
