What types of branches are ok for enclosure?

I am getting my girls big cage setup and am trying to think about what types of tree branches are ok? I have seen dowels and vines used and a few branches but i think branches would be more of a realistic look so any thing will help me decide.

I don't have a list of ok branches, but what I did is I walked around my neigborhood and broke branches off of nearby trees and I put them in the oven to kill the bacteria then washed them in some sort of bleach solution and washed it off then let them dry, it kills all the bacteria so technically any branch is ok. You can look the procces up on this forum probobly

does the bleaching/cooking process solve the poisonous issues? My cham chews on his branches from time to time and I am scared to put anything im unsure about in there.

I've heard mixxed answers but i would assume that you can not bake the toxicity out of a tree as i feel the oils in the tree or whatever is toxic is pretty much a part of it. i use dowels with food safe stain and sugar maple branches

I have some wisteria vine that I am drying out as well, cool pieces too. The only thing is they are so long I cannot fit them in my oven to bake :(. So hoping a bleach mixture spray and drying out will do the trick. Going to go around my yard this weekend and see what other nice branches I can find. Love doing things like that.
