I'm new to this forum and a new Cham owner.
I just got my new baby carpet. I've been reading about care, enclosures, etc., but not about what to expect on the first few hours of getting a baby chameleon.
I received my new baby carpet and I immediately placed her in her "new house". When I first got het, she was bright green and since I put her on her enclosure, she turned brown. I've mist the enclosure a few times trying to have her drink some water, but so far she hasn't. She finally moved around a little bit, but away from the light.
What should I expect in the next few hours? What should I do?
