what would be a good size for my two pygmy chameleons (in the exo-terra glass vivs)? maybe if i put it another way...what is the minimum enclosure size for two spectrum pygmy chams?
In Tom (Roo_71) Routhouska's article, "Husbandry Techniques for Rieppeleon brevicaudatus (Bearded Pygmy Chameleon)", he recommends: "General rule of thumb is one chameleon per ten gallons which probably applies more with mid size tanks such as 29g and 30g enclosures. There are several exceptions to this though. A 1.1 group should be fine in a 10g or 15g enclosure. Large enclosures such as a 50g can house 6 or 7 comfortably as long as the foliage is dense enough."
