Bagera's beautiful, but still pretty little, and that looks like a "big boy" cage to me. Get a smaller, temporary cage for Bagera (like one of the 2' tall Reptariums, or something similar - he'll be ready for the big one in a couple months) and let Jasper try out both sides in the meantime and pick his favorite!

I agree with this both of my babies were 1 monthish when I got them and I have had great success with them starting in 16 x 16 x 20" cages. I have had to help my little man find the basking spot twice so far. I couldn't imagine he'd make it very well in anything bigger.

I thought the same thing after I put him in there, than I added his feeder cup with 5 pin heads. It was like he knew exactly what I was doing because he darted over to the cup and before I could even get my hands out of the cage he had downed 2 crix. I am gonna give him a day or two in this cage and see how it goes.

Well if he knows how to find the food thats all that matters then. That seems to be all they care about at that age. How old is your guy?

What wattage are your basking lights? With how you have your vines positioned, you could potentially burn your cham again. I would move that vine down personally.

The picture makes them look like they are in a bad spot but they arent. I have digital themometers on both basking spots. But to answer your question I have a 60 watt for Jasper and a 40watt for Bagera

Honestly, you've been told before that you should move your light futher away. Another option is rearranging your enclosure a bit. People are giving you constructive criticism and are looking out for your chameleons health. You already had your chameleon burned before and you blamed it on a coil bulb (which made no sense).

Please know that I mean well with respect to your chameleons health. No one wants to see a burned cham.

My light is fine thanks! I have had the light in the same place for 6 months. Jasper has not been burned sinced I removed the coil bulb. My temps are fine Jasper is very healthy (you can see that in my avatar pic). The burn did come from the uva/uvb coil bulb I had. The vet said it was like a really bad sun burn...
